Gold Saturn Muse: Dakota Fanning

Whether she’s making a cameo at a Hollywood movie premiere, arriving at her hotel, or even running errands, Dakota Fanning has been looking nothing short of flawless as of late. At just 17 years old, Dakota’s ensembles put a-listers even twice her age to shame. Her style is one I would describe as effortlessly chic at it’s best.

Perhaps she has stylist Rachel Zoe to thank. The two met late last year at a launch party for Nintendo’s Style Savvy game. Though it’s unclear on whether Rachel is responsible for Dakota’s fashionable transformation, it wouldn’t be a stretch. Dakota has previously appeared in ads for designer Marc Jacobs, a best pal of Zoe.

Costume designer Carol Beadle blew it out of the water working on the costumes for Dakota’s latest film The Runaways. Dakota’s character Cherie Currie is styled to perfection in bell bottom jeans, halter tops, and vintage tees. Cherie’s outfits have me screaming “Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Cherry Bomb!”
