Caroline + Raquel in Vogue Nippon

June’s Vogue Nippon stars Brazilian supermodels Caroline Trentini and Raquel Zimmermann in an editorial that’s fresh, quirky, and a nice departure from the expected. Photographer Ellen Von Unwerth tells the story of two best friends fighting for the heart of Tom Ford’s go-to boy, Nicholas Hoult. Fashion editor Grace Coddington styled the gals in the likes of Prada, Lanvin, and Burberry- and the looks are exceptional.

For me, Caroline Trentini blows it out of the water in this shoot. I just love her sunshine blond hair, her freckles, and just look at her legs in that cinema shoot… A-fucking-mazing! Oh yea, and Nicholas doesn’t look so bad himself either. If he looks familiar, that’s probably because you’ve seen him in About A Boy back when he was just 12 years old.

Giselle’s Vogue Cover History

Although her career has had it’s ups and downs, Giselle Bundchen is forever an American Vogue cover girl. The supermodel has graced the cover 11 times, including the upcoming April 2010 issue.

miranda does vogue russia

one thing i love is when a model is able to crossover between commercial and high fashion work. no one has been doing it better lately than miss miranda kerr. the victoria’s secret angel from australia evokes a free spirited bohemian mood in vogue russia’s latest issue photgraphed by willy vanderperre. i believe miranda’s angel background brings out a youthful sex appeal in her photos, and it’s only a matter of time before she gets even more high fashion work.

Hansel + Gretel guest starring GaGa

Finally American Vogue serves up something refreshing! Annie Leibovitz captures Lily Cole, Andrew Garfield, and Lady Gaga in an editorial inspired by Hansel & Gretel in the December 2009 issue. Andrew and Lily star as Hansel and Gretel, while Lady Gaga serves as the evil witch… in Marc Jacobs of course.

Just received the September 2009 Issue of Italian Vogue and I’m left completely speechless. Rihanna serves it in dominatrix couture for the black and white editorial shoot by Steven Klein. No one serves up sex appeal like the Italians do. Take notes America! This is how it’s done.
